Episode 29: You Can’t Pay Me

Dave is smoking crack. He would do this in a second! He is doing this long project for free, but if someone paid him a decent amount of money to do the same thing he would refuse? Haha. Yea right!!!!

It would “feel like prostitution” and be fake because you’re getting paid? When was the last time you came across an artist that refused money/compensation for their work? If you think getting paid money for your talents makes them fake then you must discredit all the major successful painters, singers, musicians, actors, athletes, sculptors, photographers, directors, and designers that this world has ever seen. Hell, with this line of thinking you could go as far as saying that anyone who holds an artistic job, or any job for the matter, is fake.

Oh my gosh! The more I keep writing the more aware I become of your ridiculous line of thinking. I bet all who are reading this feel the same way too. That being said, I still love you, Dave.

Tonight’s menu: the number 29 – enchilada, rice, beans & salad.

Episode 20: Round Table

Last time we ate at Cinco we happened to take a new route back to the parking lot. Usually we just walk back through the restaurant, but this time we walked along the street and around the corner and BAM! there it was, a round table that none of us could remember seeing before. We decided on the spot that the next time we ate (tonight) we had to try the round table.

Let’s just say that it was not a rousing success. Nor was it a disaster (for anyone other than Todd). The round table is probably fine for group conversation unless, of course, you are trying to squeeze onto just one side of it for filming purposes. The main drawback is that the round table is hidden around a corner from the rest of Cinco de Mayo leaving you with the feeling that the fun is being had elsewhere, and you are missing out.

Now we know. And now you know.

Tonight’s menu: the number 20 – all bean burrito with cheese.
